What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
I began as a tire tech at a local tire shop and worked my way up to a GM. I started with just a desire to work with my hands and learn skills in the automotive field. I found I was really good at the job, and I was able to pick it up quickly. Then I found that I was really good at sales, then finally I found I was good at leading and helping my customers and making them feel comfortable trusting me with their vehicles.
How did you come to faith in Christ?
I grew up in the church, but like too many others I fell out of it. Christ has a way of finding you when you’re at your worst. I never lost my trust in Him, but I wasn’t living for Him either. He never stopped chasing me and I am forever grateful for that.
How does your faith impact the way you do business?
James 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
This is so true God has given all of us a talent that can be used to further his kingdom. We were created to move and be the vision of Christ to all we come in contact with. That is what I try to show every day I get up. This business was not designed to further myself and my family, it was created to help my customers and further the kingdom of God here on earth.
What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
Helping those who need repairs on their vehicles but can’t afford to get them fixed. I have a goal of partnering with churches in the area to get help those in need of much needed automotive repairs with special pricing set up for only those in need.
