Raise the Bar Dog Training offers behavioral training for dogs, no matter the breed, ages, or behavior issue. Teaching your dog proper behavior doesn’t have to be hard when you train with me, as I have over 20 years of experience. I’ll address your dog’s behavior problems along with teaching them basic obedience and good manners.
My in-home training sessions will be customized for the individual dog, based on what you need to address and what your lifestyle is like. I’ll start off in the home and eventually work outside of your home, in real world situations. If you are ready to have a well-behaved pup, you have come to the right place!
What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
I have always been passionate about helping animals! Throughout my adult life I worked in Human Resources at various companies, but I always wanted to work with animals. As a single mother of 2 children I worked 2 jobs to make ends meet. I started part-time working at a pet store and became a dog trainer. I always wanted to specialize in working with the hard to fix cases, the ones other trainers wouldn’t touch, so now my specialty is working with dogs suffering from severe aggression and anxiety issues. The professional and certified dog training program I came across from Canine Trade Group has been proven to be successful for over two decades!
How did you come to faith in Christ?
I was raised Jewish, but didn’t really have a religious background. I had never been exposed to the Bible and its teachings. We were taught that Jesus was just a good man, not the Messiah. I slowly began to question who Jesus was, and thankfully was guided to research a group called Jews for Jesus. I reached out to them and was blown away by all the truth, scriptures, that Jesus is the Messiah. On 2/5/25 Jesus and the Holy Spirit entered into my heart and I have been blessed ever since! I started attending Calvary Church and was Baptized on Easter Sunday of 2025. Talk about a rebirth! I have diligently been attending services and Bible study groups ever since. I love my new Faith in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit!
How does your faith impact the way you do business?
I am confident in my ability to help you and your family, and am looking to build a strong and lasting relationship with our community of people and animals, alike. I believe honesty is the best policy when communicating to my clients about their dog, even if it’s not what they expected to hear.
What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
Calvary Chapel in Cincinnati/Fairfield is the best! I wholly support their mission of Simply Teaching the Bible, Simply!
