We are a home care Agency that supports our clients with hygiene care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, running errands, appointments, and transportation assistance. We also provide behavioral care paraprofessional services for youths experiencing crisis and trauma-related issues. We customize client care by ensuring a familiar team of caregivers who are there to help clients and assist them in doing the things that are important to and for them.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do today?

As a very young child, I had a spiritual experience that took on meaning in my adult years. Reflecting on my childhood experience, I became convinced that God called me into service/ministry of healthcare, so I went to Nursing School and graduated. After many years of hospital and facility work, I found my niche in community health. I became convinced that people who want to continue living in their homes should have the support to stay for as long as they desire. I started Tri-County Visiting Nurses, LLC 18 years ago to assist people with daily living within their homes and communities.

How did you come to faith in Christ?

While in high school, I attended a revival service organized by the school’s Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS). It was there that I understood that God designed me to be His worshipper, and made a blood sacrifice through his son, Jesus, to reconcile me to Him. I then made a decision to turn by life and will over to God.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?

I strive to run the Agency on Godly principles. My motto in conducting business is to do everything as Jesus would, and we strive to model and teach these same principles to all staff.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?

I work closely with The Helping Team International (HTI), an organization that supports underserved communities to improve their well-being while spreading the good news of Christianity. My belief is that everyone should feel safe in their communities, have access to healthcare, enough self-care resources, basic education, and hear the good news.
