Jarvis Global Investments is a family-owned and operated investment advisory firm in Symmes Township, Ohio, that offers private portfolio management and retirement services to high-net-worth individuals, profit sharing plans, corporations and charitable organizations with at least $500,000 in investable assets. With over 25 years of investment advisory experience, Jarvis Global offers a full array of portfolio options to serve the specific needs of each individual client. What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do today?

Even as a high school student, I had a strong interest in Finance, Economics, and the financial markets. Numbers and analytics have always come easy for me. More importantly, I have come to thoroughly enjoy collaborating with clients on a personal basis to create a goal-driven strategy to help them achieve their life dreams.

How did you come to faith in Christ?

I have always tried to put Christ in the driver’s seat of my life. From the time I was 8 years old and voluntarily walked to the front of our church to profess my belief in Jesus and his death and resurrection on the cross for my sins, to taking a leadership role in Fellowship of Christian Athletes in college, and to leading the International Fellowship of Christian Businessmen more recently, I have strived to place my personal, business, and spiritual path in God’s hands. As far back as I can recollect, there have always been Christian mentors either helping to guide me or bringing me back on God’s path.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?

I try to conduct my business with as much love as possible. Whether it is showing patience with clients, grace to my employees, praying for direction in managing my business, or making sure every decision is for the benefit of those who have placed their trust in Jarvis Global Investments, I have come to view Jarvis not as a business, but as a ministry to reflect the values that God would want presented to the world, and as a vehicle to share the talents and resources that God has placed in my care.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?

Jarvis Global has had the pleasure of taking roles in a number of organizations over the years. Whether it is local schools, kids’ sports, endowments, food pantries, charitable organizations, civic organizations, etc… Jarvis believes that by raising the bar in one area of the community other bars are raised too. More recently we have redirected our focus to make sure we are concentrating on good works more than simply virtuous deeds. We want to make sure that the organizations that we support are glorifying God as they work to make others lives a little more rewarding, enjoyable, and secure.
