Inner Blessings is a Christian Bible, book, and gift store. We are here to provide books and Bibles to help our customers grow in their faith journey.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
My husband and myself realized that our little town needed a Christian bookstore. We were inspired to open our store after going on a 3-day Christian retreat, believing God was speaking to us as we attended these retreats on separate weekends.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I came to faith in Christ in my mid-twenties after joining a women’s Bible study, and the women shared that I only need to have faith in Jesus as my Savior. I had grown up believing I had to be a “good person” to go to heaven.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
My faith reminds me every day to treat others as I wish to be treated. To be fair, honest and kind. And to always have an ear ready to listen to people that are going through so much grief and hardship.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
We really don’t focus on just one ministry. We get a lot of requests for donations from churches, schools, and other organizations and we try to help them out when possible.

Providence Extension Program (PEP) is a Classical Christian Homeschooling partnership with parents who desire to homeschool their children by providing a Christ-centered, academically challenging, hybrid approach to education for 6th-12th grade students.

PEP offers classes two days a week on Monday and Wednesday at Grace Baptist Church in Mason.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
I was blessed by partnering with this program for my own children. Over the years, I witnessed the beauty of the discipleship element along with the academic excellence and I felt called to invest in the ministry. I believe this is one of the ways the Lord is calling me to participate in fulfilling the Great Commission.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
The Lord used Christian educators during my early grade school years as the primary means of delivering the gospel message and discipleship. Through their testimonies and incorporation of Biblical Worldview, I came to see the holiness of God as our creator, my human condition as a fallen sinner in need of a Savior, and the hope of redemption and eternal life that Christ secured for his children, through his life, death, and resurrection.

How does your faith impact the way you run this program?
I believe that Christ’s redemption and reconciliation of His children allows me to be free from the sin that enslaves, to live for Him. I believe that as a redeemed person, I have the privilege of participating in the Great Commission. Since PEP’s vision encompasses the Great Commission, I consider my life as a living testimony to call others to come and see the glory of God. My prayer is through that encounter, students will understand the truth of the gospel, be transformed by the power of the Spirit, and seek to join in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
As the current PEP Mason Administrator my passion is to support parents who desire to homeschool their children by providing them with a Christ-centered, academically challenging, hybrid approach to education in 6th-12th grades.

At Work on Purpose is a citywide community of working Christians serving Greater Cincinnati. Our mission is to mobilize working Christians for vocational and cultural flourishing.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
When I came to Christ in my early 30s, I became passionate to integrate faith with work. So, in addition to a consulting firm I continue to lead, I decided to establish a ministry in Cincinnati for work life.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I spent a decade studying world religion and philosophy, and gradually became convinced that Christianity was the faith matching my experience with life, and a faith that could stand under scrutiny.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
Faith impacts my business in every way. I recognize that God “owns” all that I have, and that my work is a form or worship, and an exercise in stewardship. I endeavor to respond to God’s call on my life at work, uphold Kingdom standards, minister at work throughout my sphere of influence, and give generously what I have resources.

Athletes in Action seeks to develop spiritual movements everywhere through the platform of sport so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus. Our vision is to see a Christ follower on every team, every sport in every nation. We develop Total Athletes mentally, physically and spiritually so they can have a lasting impact on those around them. We believe athletes are made for sport and made for more.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
As a Track and Field athlete at the University of Southern Mississippi I came to Christ through Cru, which is the parent organization of AIA. As I approached the end of my college career I had to make a decision about what is next. As I considered my love for Christ and His mission, my love for sport and my need for a job I realized that AIA could combine all of those and the Lord made it clear this was my next step. I am passionate about seeing the world come to Christ and sport seemed like the perfect platform the Lord had for me.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
As a college student I attended a conference hosted by Cru called the Christmas Conference. It was at this conference that I heard a couple thousand college students from across the southeast worship God, talk about how God was impactig their lives and share what God was doing on their specific campus. At this point it became very clear that God is real and I needed to place my trust in Him. It is a moment that changed my life and eternity forever.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
All that we do in AIA is centered on our relationship with Christ. All of our strategies, business decisions, personnel decisions, etc. are made with the Great Commission in mind an specifically our mission in AIA. Prayer and our own spiritual growth are bedrock foundational principles upon which we live and operate.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
Athletes in Action is certainly the ministry we champion. We believe the world is looking to athletes and the world needs to see those athletes looking to God. Sport is one of the greatest influencers in our culture around the world and we believe one of the best ways to go after the Great Commission.

Thrive Fitness Plus is a whole-person fitness community in Alexandria, Kentucky—guiding people toward sustainable strength, deep healing, and purpose that endures. We believe transformation happens through the body, mind, and spirit working together.

Our approach is called Thrive Custom Coaching—a personalized blend of strength training, mobility work, and relational support tailored to each person’s goals, health history, and season of life. We also offer massage therapy, nutrition coaching, and transformational coaching to help people live in balance and wholeness.

At Thrive, we hold space for both progress and restoration. We believe real strength isn’t just about what you lift—it’s about what you lay down. Everything we do flows from our mission: to reshape lives to thrive.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
For about ten years, I worked out at a small gym here in Alexandria. Out of nowhere, the owner announced he was closing the business for good. He was walking through a difficult season and just couldn’t keep it going.

I asked my son, Jered, if he might want to talk with the owner about becoming a personal trainer and possibly reopening the space. He said yes. Honestly, I kept waiting for the red flags that would tell me it wasn’t meant to be—but they never came. So we reopened the gym under a new name: Thrive Fitness Plus.

At first, I planned to stay in the background—help Jered get things started, pay the bills, handle logistics, and let him lead the front end. But after the first year, when we faced some hard financial losses, I realized I couldn’t stay quiet. I was being challenged to step up—to lead more actively, to cast vision, and to bring the coaching heart that had shaped my career into the DNA of Thrive.

2025 has been a year of stepping forward—learning to lead from purpose, not ego. I still love working with my coaching clients, but I also feel deeply called to craft this business into something special: a place where people experience strength, healing, and community in a way that reflects the Father’s heart. Looking back, I can see how He’s been gently steering the story all along.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I was raised in a Christian home where faith was just part of life. My parents hosted small groups in our house when I was a toddler, so from an early age I saw people praying, worshiping, and studying together.

Over the years, my walk with God has had seasons of closeness and seasons of rebellion—some subtle, some not so subtle. There have been times when I yearned to live as a disciple of Christ, and others when I mostly ignored Him. For a long stretch, I was waiting for a burning-bush moment without letting the dross burn off my own heart and mind.

One of the most defining turning points came in my early twenties. After a couple of years of drifting, I found myself one Wednesday night sitting in the back row at a Vineyard Church service in Springdale. The whole night was mostly music. As I listened, I became overwhelmed by the realization that my Father’s love had never let go—not even once. Each song seemed to peel back another layer of His patience and pursuit. That night, I surrendered again. It remains one of the clearest and most powerful moments of my life—when love won me back.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
For me, faith isn’t something that stays in a Sunday box. It’s the lens through which I try to see people and make decisions every day. I believe work becomes sacred when it’s done with love, integrity, and purpose—whether you’re coaching someone through a workout or helping them rebuild confidence after a hard season.

At Thrive Fitness Plus, our culture flows directly from that faith. Our Core Values describe how we live it out: we Pursue Excellence with humility and heart, Collaborate with trust and honesty, Embrace Change when growth requires movement, and Fail Forward by giving grace and learning fast. We Build Up Others through encouragement and belonging, Keep It Real with truth and care, Live Healthy in body, mind, and spirit, and Be Lean and Effective so every effort has purpose.

To me, leadership is just another form of discipleship. It’s not about control—it’s about serving, guiding, and helping others grow into who they were created to be. My faith reminds me daily that success isn’t measured by numbers or noise; it’s measured by lives changed and hearts restored.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
At the heart of Thrive Fitness Plus, our cause is transformation—helping people live whole in body, mind, and spirit. We believe real change doesn’t just happen in church pews or counseling rooms; it happens in everyday spaces where people feel safe, challenged, and loved.

Our mission is simple: We reshape lives to thrive. For us, that means guiding people toward sustainable strength, deep healing, and purpose that endures. Whether someone comes in for custom coaching, massage, or transformational coaching, they’re met with care that sees beyond the surface.

Sometimes people begin with physical health or strength, and as their bodies grow stronger, they become more open to the deeper and more difficult work of heart and mind transformation. That’s the beauty of whole-person wellness—it starts where people are and leads them toward who they were created to be.

What drives me most is seeing people come alive to that reality—walking in the fullness of the identity and purpose God already placed within them. When people rediscover their God-given design, everything around them begins to change. Homes get stronger. Workplaces get healthier. Hope multiplies.

At Thrive, that’s the ministry we champion every day—one life at a time, learning to live whole and walk free.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
I was introduced to financial planning through a friend of the family. They showed me that people need help with these complex issues that are always changing and how I could help them and make a positive impact in their life.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I wish I could tell you I have been a faithful Christian since childhood. While I attended church in my younger years, I really did not develop an unwaivering faith and commitment to Christ until my early 40’s. I was having some struggles and prayed that famous prayer, “God, please help.” His grace and mercy met me and the seeds were planted.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
I want to represent Jesus well to those around me. My faith in Christ prompts me to lead with integrity, provides a firm foundation when challenges arise, and gives purpose and meaning regardless of success or failure.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
We are all made in the image of our creator, and every life has meaning, purpose and value. I love to support the mission of local pregnancy resource centers who work daily to share that message with their clients!

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
Some encouraging college professors, and the realization I could connect my desire to serve the Lord through local radio!

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I was blessed to grow up in a Christian family, so the Good News of the Gospel was part of my life from an early age. I began to ask questions and after several conversations with my parents and grandfather (and by the conviction of the Holy Spirit), understood my need for a Savior. At age 8, I confessed with my mouth, and believed with my heart (Romans 10:9) that Jesus is Lord.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
I want to represent Jesus well to those around me. My faith in Christ prompts me to lead with integrity, provides a firm foundation when challenges arise, and gives purpose and meaning regardless of success or failure.

At 21st Century Financial, we help people make a meaningful difference in their financial lives through holistic, client-centered guidance. As independent financial advisors, we always act in our clients’ best interests—offering unbiased advice and tailored strategies. Our approach is results-driven, not transaction-driven—focused on long-term success, not short-term gains.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
I’ve always been passionate about working with people and building meaningful relationships. A strong work-life balance is important to me, and I’m grateful that my career has allowed me to prioritize both my family and personal fulfillment. This path has provided opportunities that align perfectly with my values.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I’ve always had a strong faith and belief from an early age. While growing up we didn’t always attend church regularly, we did walk in a faith-based path. Faith woven into everyday actions, not just reserved for Sundays. My upbringing emphasized the heart of spirituality: compassion, integrity, and a desire to evolve.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
Honesty, integrity and faith are cornerstones of my practice. Using this approach to financial literacy becomes not just practical or spiritual, but transformative.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
I believe financial literacy is both practical and has a spiritual discipline. Seeing financial literacy as a spiritual discipline transforms it from a chore into a practice of wisdom and self-mastery. It’s not just about creating more—it’s about becoming more aligned, generous, and responsible.

Raise the Bar Dog Training offers behavioral training for dogs, no matter the breed, ages, or behavior issue. Teaching your dog proper behavior doesn’t have to be hard when you train with me, as I have over 20 years of experience. I’ll address your dog’s behavior problems along with teaching them basic obedience and good manners.

My in-home training sessions will be customized for the individual dog, based on what you need to address and what your lifestyle is like. I’ll start off in the home and eventually work outside of your home, in real world situations. If you are ready to have a well-behaved pup, you have come to the right place!

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
I have always been passionate about helping animals! Throughout my adult life I worked in Human Resources at various companies, but I always wanted to work with animals. As a single mother of 2 children I worked 2 jobs to make ends meet. I started part-time working at a pet store and became a dog trainer. I always wanted to specialize in working with the hard to fix cases, the ones other trainers wouldn’t touch, so now my specialty is working with dogs suffering from severe aggression and anxiety issues. The professional and certified dog training program I came across from Canine Trade Group has been proven to be successful for over two decades!

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I was raised Jewish, but didn’t really have a religious background. I had never been exposed to the Bible and its teachings. We were taught that Jesus was just a good man, not the Messiah. I slowly began to question who Jesus was, and thankfully was guided to research a group called Jews for Jesus. I reached out to them and was blown away by all the truth, scriptures, that Jesus is the Messiah. On 2/5/25 Jesus and the Holy Spirit entered into my heart and I have been blessed ever since! I started attending Calvary Church and was Baptized on Easter Sunday of 2025. Talk about a rebirth! I have diligently been attending services and Bible study groups ever since. I love my new Faith in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit!

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
I am confident in my ability to help you and your family, and am looking to build a strong and lasting relationship with our community of people and animals, alike. I believe honesty is the best policy when communicating to my clients about their dog, even if it’s not what they expected to hear.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
Calvary Chapel in Cincinnati/Fairfield is the best! I wholly support their mission of Simply Teaching the Bible, Simply!

21st Century Financial exists to help people make a difference in their financial lives through holistic financial guidance. We are independent financial advisors and will always make recommendations in the client’s best interest. We are results-driven, not transaction-driven.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
Early on in life, as a young teen, I talked my parents into getting a checking account vs paying all their bills with money orders. One condition: they required me to take care of their checking account. I realized then how overwhelming and confusing money management could be for many individuals and families, and I wanted to be someone who could bring them clarity and confidence.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I was born into a Christian home, but it was through a combination of personal experiences and meaningful relationships in my early years that allowed me to see Jesus and to really want Him as part of my life. Since then, my faith has been an ongoing journey of growth, hope, and a deepened relationship with God.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
My faith impacts the way I do business in every aspect. It shapes my values, my decisions, and the way I treat clients and colleagues. I believe that integrity, honesty, and servant-hearted leadership are essential in any business relationship, and my faith reinforces those principles. I view my work as a way to serve others. That means being genuinely attentive to the needs of the people I work with, providing them with honest guidance, and doing what is in their best interest—even if it doesn’t benefit me directly.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
I believe that understanding how to manage money wisely is not just a practical skill, but a spiritual discipline. Helping individuals and families learn how to budget, save, give, and plan for the future through a biblical lens can be incredibly freeing and empowering. It’s fulfilling to see people experience peace and purpose in their financial lives as they align their decisions with God’s principles.

Wayne Overhead Door Sales and Home Improvements has been serving families and businesses in the Miami Valley since 1965. We provide professional garage door sales, installation, and repair, as well as entry doors, roofing, siding, gutters, and other home improvement services. Our mission has always been to treat every customer with honesty, respect, and care, while delivering high-quality workmanship you can trust.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
Our story began in 1965, When my father-in-law, Darrell Yoder and his brother-in-law, Charles Kauffman started Wayne Doors. After several years Darrell became the sole owner of Wayne Overhead Door Sales of Dayton Inc. In 2000 my wife and I purchased Wayne Overhead Door Sales of Dayton and included Home Improvements. Over the years, as our community grew, so did our services. Generations of families have trusted us with their homes, businesses, and we’ve expanded to offer complete exterior improvements while staying true to our roots in garage doors.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
As a young child, I remember riding the church bus across town and being introduced to the Lord. Over the years, my little grandma, Irene would always invite me to church and give spiritual support. I recalled looking up to my Uncle Buddy (Carl Levine), being a shoulder to lean on and giving me guidance. I became older, failing, struggling, and needing to find my way, I would find myself derailing. Over time I came to realize that I could not survive without Christ in my life and being in His word.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
I have always felt the Lord put me on earth to help others. Our faith shapes everything we do. We believe in being transparent, keeping our word, and serving our customers with integrity. We view our work not just as a job, but as a ministry opportunity, to show Christ’s love through excellent service, fair pricing, and genuine care for the people we serve.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
We support local churches, youth programs, and family outreach ministries because we believe strong families and strong faith build strong communities. We are especially passionate about supporting organizations that help children and families in need, reflecting the love and compassion Christ calls us to show.

Dry Ally is a customer service business working in the Restoration industry. We focus on emergency water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation. Although we primarily get paid by insurance companies, we work for the property owners and our primary goal is to ensure great customer service that matches our great service.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
I spent 15 years in the insurance industry – 6 years as an Insurance Risk Consultant and 9 years as an Insurance Property Adjuster. I took the leap from corporate insurance to restoration because I was no longer feeling fulfilled by my corporate job, and I wanted to have the ability to make my own way in order to better help my family. Things started changing for me once my corporate employer started making me take my computer and work phone with me on vacations. On the day of my sister’s wedding, I was told to be checking my email throughout the day, regardless of the day’s events. That is when I knew I needed something different for myself and my family.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I grew up in the Catholic faith, going to church every Sunday. I started attending Sunday School in Kindergarten and a private Catholic school until 8th grade. My relationship with God had its ups and downs when I was in my young twenties, but through those valleys, it has only made my faith stronger as I get older. Today my family and I attend Mt. Carmel Christian Church and have been there for over 15 years.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
It sounds cliché, but we are a service-first business. We focus less on the total amount of the work and focus more on how we can help/serve those we’re helping and our community. It can be simple things that can make a large impact, like shoveling driveways and sidewalks in the winter when we’re working job sites, pulling weeds from flower beds and yards on our final day on a job site, cleaning dishes for a family, or simply taking time to talk with an elderly customer who may not be as active as they once were. We don’t believe in rushing the work to get paid. We believe in making an impact on those lives we come into contact with to make a difference and a lasting impression for the better. We leave every job site better than how we found it.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
Foster Care & Adoption:
My wife and I spent 7 years as foster parents – fostering 10 children from all walks of life. We’ve fostered children as young at 4 weeks old who were born addicted to alcohol and heroin. We’ve fostered sibling sets of children with emotional and cognitive challenges. And, we’ve been blessed to have adopted our two older children from foster care who suffered from horrific events in their past. Foster Care and Adoption will forever have our hearts, and we’ll always be a champion for it.

Education & Mentorship:
In my spare time, I work with local high schools and middle schools trying to connect and mentor children who are interested in business and entrepreneurship. I’ve been working with the youth for 20 years (some are now married and having children of their own) mentoring and trying to be a positive role model.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
When I returned to school for my second degree, I wanted to use that degree along with my God given talents for His glory. Well, God opened the door to my first ministry position, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving in different roles, each one preparing me for the next. Earlier this year, He led me into the world of fundraising, where I now get to connect resources with ministry in a way that advances His Kingdom.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I grew up in the church, always believing in God and knowing who Jesus was, but it wasn’t until adulthood that He drew me closer and my faith became real and deeply rooted. By then, I had lived long enough to look back and clearly see His presence at different points in my life. That realization stirred a curiosity in me—what did Scripture really say? Around that time, I discovered contemporary Christian music, began getting more involved in my local church, and my faith grew even stronger. Although I had been baptized as an infant, I wanted to make that choice for myself, so I was rebaptized as an adult. That moment marked the true beginning of my ministry journey.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
I strive to honor God in both word and deed in every business interaction. That’s one of the reasons I find such joy in working in ministry—it’s a chance to bring a little bit of heaven down to earth and shine His light into a weary world. I know it may sound cliché, but when you truly stop and think about it, it’s an incredible and exciting privilege.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
I’ve had the unique privilege of serving in a variety of ministries—teaching ministry, worship ministry, and now the hands-and-feet side of ministry. Each role has given me a deeper and broader perspective of the Body of Christ in action. Across every position, one passion has remained constant: championing every possible opportunity for ministries and Christian business leaders to partner together. My heart is to see these partnerships impact culture and carry forward the ministry of Jesus, just as He did while on earth.

Women Are Gold is a human trafficking prevention organization dedicated to reshaping the futures of young women and girls in Cambodia. Our mission centers on empowering and uplifting these young women, offering them a clear pathway to a brighter and hope-filled future.

We firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of this future, which is why we provide essential monthly support to help young women from disadvantaged families stay in school and reach their full potential.

In addition, we offer comprehensive anti-trafficking training programs designed for our beneficiaries, their families, and the wider community, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves and foster resilience against trafficking.

What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
In 2015, I took a short-term mission trip to Thailand and Cambodia with an international anti-trafficking organization. During this trip, I encountered and interacted with young women who were trafficked. The trip was life-changing, and I felt compelled to get involved in the mission and do my part to help end human trafficking.

How did you come to faith in Christ?
I grew up in a Christian home; church and faith in God was always a part of my life.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?
My faith is the cornerstone of the work I do with Women Are Gold. We are Christian organization and we believe in spreading the gospel through our actions and our programs.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
We focus on the prevention and eradication of human trafficking, which we view as the greatest injustice imaginable. We believe that God has a plan for the young women we work with. Our goal is to help them discover that plan so they can lead impactful and hope-filled lives.
