What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
I have always been really creative and started taking art classes very early on in my life. As I got older and was trying to decide what career path to take, I was introduced to Graphic Design at the Modern College of Design. (Formerly the School of Advertising Art). I applied, learned how to power on a Macintosh computer, won a few design awards and graduated in the top of my class. I love that I was able to find a career that gives me so many different opportunities to stay creative.
How did you come to faith in Christ?
I grew up in a Christian home and was always involved in church. I remember asking Jesus into my heart when I was 7 and journaled it in my little Precious Moments bible. I still have that to this day! 🙂
How does your faith impact the way you do business?
For me, integrating my faith into my business isn’t something I have to think about. I believe the Holy Spirit works in us and through us, shaping not only our lives but also the work of our hands.
My business is built on a foundation of biblical values, and those values influence every aspect of what I do—from my creative process and the way I serve my clients to the way I make decisions and run my business. I couldn’t do what I do without God. (After all, He is the ultimate Creator!) He’s the One who brings inspiration when I hit a creative block, gives me wisdom through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, and reminds me that people always come before projects. My prayer is that everything I create—and every interaction I have—reflects His creativity, His excellence, and His love.
