At Work on Purpose is a citywide community of working Christians serving Greater Cincinnati. Our mission is to mobilize working Christians for vocational and cultural flourishing.
What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
When I came to Christ in my early 30s, I became passionate to integrate faith with work. So, in addition to a consulting firm I continue to lead, I decided to establish a ministry in Cincinnati for work life.
How did you come to faith in Christ?
I spent a decade studying world religion and philosophy, and gradually became convinced that Christianity was the faith matching my experience with life, and a faith that could stand under scrutiny.
How does your faith impact the way you do business?
Faith impacts my business in every way. I recognize that God “owns” all that I have, and that my work is a form or worship, and an exercise in stewardship. I endeavor to respond to God’s call on my life at work, uphold Kingdom standards, minister at work throughout my sphere of influence, and give generously what I have resources.
