What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do today?

As a third-generation owner of Keelcon Inc., my inspiration stems from a deep family legacy in construction. Growing up, I was surrounded by the art and craft of building, which ignited my passion for creating structures that stand the test of time. Beyond the physical aspect, I’ve always been drawn to the engineering challenges this field presents. It’s incredibly fulfilling to work through complex problems and learn from others, whether it’s mastering new techniques or collaborating with a talented team. My journey has been a blend of tradition, passion, and continuous learning.

How did you come to faith in Christ?

I was fortunate to be raised in a Christian home, one that was not only centered on faith but also welcoming to people of all races, creeds, and backgrounds. This openness deeply shaped my understanding of God’s love and grace. Throughout my life, I was surrounded by friends who shared this Christian faith, which further strengthened my connection to the teachings of Christ.

However, it was during times of personal hardship and challenges that my faith truly deepened. In those moments, the Word of God and the cause of Christ took root in my heart, offering me strength and comfort when I needed it most. I also experienced the profound presence of God, hearing His voice speaking to me in ways that were undeniable. It is through these experiences that I came to a committed faith in Christ, one that continues to guide me daily.

How does your faith impact the way you do business?

My faith serves as the guiding principle for our business model at Keelcon Inc. It shapes not only how we conduct ourselves but also how we approach every project, from planning to execution. Faith teaches us the importance of ethics, integrity, and fairness—values that are woven into every aspect of our work. It sets the standard for our daily approach, where our priority is to honor God first, ensuring that we deliver products and services in a way that is pleasing to Him.

This mindset naturally leads to a business practice that puts the customer’s needs at the forefront, while ensuring that personal ambitions or profits come last. By keeping faith at the center, we strive to provide service that is not only high in quality but also deeply rooted in doing what is right.

What ministry/cause do you champion and why?

Byron is a licensed and ordained minister honored to serve as the Associate Minister, Administration Officer, Adult Sunday School Teacher, and Co-Director of Vacation Bible School at The First Baptist Church of West College Hill in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he has dedicated 15 wonderful years.
